Welcome to Odyssey Beard Co, Australia’s new home of premium, handcrafted, natural beard care and men’s grooming products. We are based in the beautiful Moreton Bay on Brisbane’s Northside and our website ships Australia wide.
Our goal
Our goal is to help improve the self-esteem of Aussie men by giving them the confidence of having a perfectly groomed beard. You’ll experience no ‘beardruff’ flakes on your black shirts when using our products!
We have no desire to become the largest beard care company in Australia, but we’d really love for our products to be known as the best quality and value for money.
We once received a review that said we were “…the new A-Team in Australian beard care”, and we quite like the sound of that!
Who is Odyssey Beard Co
Karen and Nathan are a couple with a passion for natural beard care. With Karen’s knowledge and creativity and Nathan’s magnificent beard and brutally honest feedback, they work together perfectly to create natural beard care products that banish dry, flaky and itchy skin, and that soften and tame even the wildest of beards.
Our beginning
An ‘Odyssey’ is a long and eventful journey. Our journey began in 2017 when Karen was diagnosed with cancer for the first time, before it returned again in 2021. Treatment for cancer battle #2 included removing several major muscles in her hip and severing her sciatic nerve, which means permanently requiring crutches to walk.
We firmly believe that it is important to look for the positive in every difficult situation.
Nathan had been growing his beard for 6+ years and Karen had been thoroughly enjoying creating beard oils and balms for Nathan herself. Karen’s health issues provided the perfect opportunity to take that passion and enthusiasm to the next level, and so Odyssey Beard Co was created in 2022.

Our products
Our products are very carefully handcrafted in small batches to ensure that they are always freshly made and of the highest quality. Every ingredient that we use is included for a purpose, there are no cheap filler oils in our products!
